Bibb County Jane Doe was a female whose partial remains were discovered in a wooded area in 1977. She is believed to be a victim of serial killer Samuel Little.

The victim’s skeletal remains were discovered in a wooded area off Riverside Drive, one mile north of Arkwright Road in the front yard of a house. People in the neighborhood had also been reporting a foul odor in the past six weeks. The remains had been scattered by animals and only her hands, shoulder blades, one or more limbs, and torso were not recovered after a search. Her cause of death was never determined, but it’s believed she was strangled and dumped at the scene.

In 2018-2019, Samuel Little confessed to this murder. Unlike his other unidentified victims, any statements Little has said about his interactions with this victim has not been made public. However, it is known Little was upset when showed the reconstruction of the victim because he said that it did not resemble her.

Between 1970-2005, Little killed up to 90 women who were involved in drugs or prostitution. He has been convicted of eight murders in three states and linked to sixty-one additional murders, including this victim. The investigation into Little’s crimes are ongoing.
