"Box Mike" was a transient that lived in Phoenix, Arizona for several years before he was fatally struck by a vehicle.

Circumstances

The victim was struck by a vehicle at 36th Avenue and Peoria in Phoenix and died at a local hospital. Local transients said he lived in the area for years and was known to them as "Box Mike". Although sources say his DNA is available, the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office reported his DNA could not be uploaded into the CODIS national database. He is buried at the White Tanks Cemetery in Goodyear, Arizona.
