Template:UID"Carnival Girl" is the nickname given to a young woman found murdered in 1944.

Case

At around 7:30 A.M. on June 5, 1944, the corpse of a young woman was discovered in East Liverpool, Ohio. She was wearing only a torn pink slip and had been strangled to death.

The day afterwards, torn clothing likely belonging to the deceased woman was discovered in a trash bag where a carnival had performed the night she was murdered. She strongly resembled one of the performers, but her identity could not be traced and she remains unidentified.
