Cecilia Nikal (sometimes spelled as Cicilia) was a teenager who disappeared in 1989. It is believed she may have possibly been a victim of the Highway of Tears murders.
Description
Little is known about Cecilia's disappearance. Due to inconsistencies in databases, her exact age isn't clear. What is known is that Cecilia had black hair and brown eyes.
Case
Cecilia arrived in Vancouver on August 1, 1989, to visit her mother. Afterwards, she left her mother's house to live on the streets. She was last seen by her mother in the October of 1989. A family members claims that Cecilia moved to Vancouver Island afterwards, but this has never been confirmed and Cecilia has not been seen again.
Cecilia's cousin, Delphine Nikal, would disappear just a year later and it's possible their cases may be connected.
