Cook County Jane Doe was a female who was located off a path in Calumet City, Illinois. The body appeared to have been dumped at the scene the previous night. Police theorized, early into the investigation, that she was possibly from Indiana, as the place of discovery was close to the border between the two states. It was also possible she was a transient.
