Cynthia Coon (born March 24, 1956) was a teenager who disappeared in 1970.
She was last seen in January and was known to have called her parents on April 1 and 2. During the phone calls, she explained she was unaware of her current location.
She had no history of running away and did well in school. On May 5, her family received a phone call offering a ransom for Coon's return.
Coon was previously speculated to be "Ginger," who was located in Florida in 1973. Dental records excluded this, as she had straight teeth, while the unidentified female's were crooked.
