Duval County Doe was a person whose partial skeletal remains (minus the torso and one or more hands/limbs) were located in the St. Johns River in northeast Florida. Although their race and biological sex were unable to be determined conclusively, they were probably a black male.
They may have been dead for a very long time. Carbon dating was only able to prove that the person couldn't have been dead for more than 50 years prior to being discovered.
