Elko County John Doe was a man whose decomposed remains were discovered in Arizona.


Railroad personnel checking tracks discovered the body in the desert near railroad tracks four miles south of Wendover in rural Elko County.

Railroad employees possibly observed the decedent wandering near the tracks days prior. No signs of trauma were noted. Cause of death is believed to be from dehydration and exposure or congenital heart defect.
