Railroad personnel checking tracks discovered the body in the desert near railroad tracks four miles south of Wendover in rural Elko County.
Railroad employees possibly observed the decedent wandering near the tracks days prior. No signs of trauma were noted. Cause of death is believed to be from dehydration and exposure or congenital heart defect.
- Dark brown to black hair, straight and closely shorn with a short dark brown or black mustache and beard
- Most likely dark eye color, unable to be determined
- Body weight is described as "emaciated"
- White Hanes briefs with seams re-sewn with blue thread.
