Putnam County John Doe was a man who died by suicide in New York. He was seen alive two days before he was discovered.

Case[]

On October 9, 1995, the victim was located in a wooded area adjacent to the Garden Street School on Oak Street in Brewster, New York. He had slashed his wrists in an apparent suicide.

On October 7, he was seen making a purchase at a curtain shop in New Rochelle, where he purchased two expensive blankets. He then took a train to Brewster on the Metro-North Railroad.

Despite an extensive investigation into the man's suicide, he has never been identified.
