Debra Jean Houston (1960 - c. December 25, 1989) was a woman whose remains were discovered scattered by Interstate 10 close to mile marker 288 in Texas in 1996. Her death was initially listed as possibly being "drug-related or accidental," the latter was eventually ruled as the manner of death.
She was identified in March 2022 after the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office received a tip suggesting Houston was the decedent. The resolution of her case was announced the following month.
