Jon'Perry L. Hutcherson was a young man whose partial skeletal remains were found on the banks of the Illinois River with more later being found by a fisherman.

He was identified in April 2021.

Case[]

Hutcherson had been living with his brother in Peoria, Illinois when on November 27, 2019, he had woken up from a nap in the evening and was last seen leaving his home. He had left his keys and his wallet, and was stated to have not been from the area nor did he know anyone in the area excluding his brother. In addition, Hutcherson was reported to have been suffering with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia at the time of his disappearance.

On August 29, 2020, partial skeletal remains were discovered on the banks of the Illinois River in Glasford, Illinois near Wheeler Road. More skeletal remains were later found during a search and a local fisherman. During the investigation, the skeletal remains were stated to have not matched with any local missing person in Glasford at the time.

In April 2021, Hutcherson was positively identified through DNA. Detectives currently have not released further information on the cause of Hutcherson's death nor any indication of foul play.
