Jane Doe's remains were discovered in the rural area of Otay, California by a jogger. Her body was dumped near a pavement, and her remains had been burned after her death. However, most of the damage from the burning was located to her torso, while her face was undamaged. Examiners noted facial injuries suggesting she was abused long term. There was bruising to the left cheek and her left eye was swollen shut. A dangerous amount of Meperidine was found in her system, which may have been her cause of death.
