Francisco Javier Sanchez AKA Francisco Javier Sanchez-Ramos is a man who went missing during the Los Angeles Riots of 1992.

Case

Francisco Javier Sanchez, a Guatemalan immigrant, was last seen on the street near his west Adam Boulevard apartment he shared with his family in Los Angeles, California on the afternoon of April 30, 1992. His last paycheck was not picked up.

Sanchez disappeared a day after the Los Angeles Riots AKA Rodney King Riots of 1992 started. Between April 29 and May 4, 1992, thousands of people in the Los Angeles metropolitan area looted the city and participated in acts of arson, assault, and murder. Sixty-three people were killed, two thousand and three hundred and eighty-three people were injured, and twelve thousand and a hundred and eleven people were arrested before the California National Guard, the U.S. military, and several U.S. federal agencies restored order, but the military did not leave the city until May 27.

It's not clear if Sanchez's disappearance is connected to the riots, but he has been ruled out as two unidentified bodies found during the aftermath.
