Harris County Jane Doe was a woman found murdered under a bridge in Texas in 1980.

Case

The victim was found hours after she died. She was suspected to have been a prostitute, and potentially a victim in a span of serial murders that occurred throughout Texas during the 1980s. Most of the victims were "high risk," and there were about two dozen killed between 1980 and 1981.

In 2017, a theory came to light that her death may be related to two other victims, two of which still remain unidentified; Walker County Jane Doe and Harris County Jane Doe. Each victim had been strangled and left along Interstate 45, after being sexually assaulted..
