Harrison County Jane Doe was a woman whose skeletal remains were discovered by hunters in 1980. Her cause of death is unknown, but homicide is "strongly suspected".

Initial genetic analysis showed her ancestry to be Greek, Armenian and/or Tuscan/North Italian. 20 women have been ruled out as the decedent.

Characteristics

  • Medium length light brown hair.
  • Possibly pigeon chested and/or humpbacked but may not have been outwardly apparent during life.
  • An extra flange for the external pterygoid muscle, which could be caused from playing a wind instrument.
  • Probably right-handed.
  • Had no term or near-term children at time of death.
