Marta Haydee Rodriguez, best known by her middle name, was a woman found in Virginia in 1991. She went missing in 1989 and was confirmed identified June 2018 after new DNA testing led to a match.
Her remains were initially classified to belong to a black individual and at a much younger age. Her estranged husband eventually pleaded guilty to her murder, after being convicted of that of his girlfriend's 2009 killing.
