Hinds County Jane Doe is a young woman found murdered in Bolton, Mississippi on July 19, 1999.

Case

The victim's nude body was found at an oil well in the St. Thomas area of Bolton and lying on top of the bottom of a yellow rain slicker. Her cause of death was gunshot wounds to the abdomen.

Ricky Franklin is a suspect in the murder of this woman. Franklin was convicted of aggravated assault with brass knuckles against a man who was permanently disabled as a result of the incident in 2000, and the kidnapping, rape, and aggravated assault of a woman in 2009 and sentenced to fifty years for the latter.
