Hinds County Jane Doe is a young woman found murdered in Bolton, Mississippi on October 31, 1999. She was murdered prior to 1995.

Case

The victim was found in a wooded area a quarter of a mile from the oil well in the St. Thomas area of Bolton. She was found with two other women, Mable Conic and Shannon McKinney. Conic and McKinney were both prostitutes who lived in the Mill Street area of Jackson, Mississippi. The victim's clothes reportedly were shared by prostitutes who lived together and the "BS" mark on the shorts was eventually linked to Brownwyn Strickland. Strickland is now deceased. It's unknown if Strickland gave any information to the authorities on the victim before her death.

Ricky Franklin is a suspect in the murders of these women, who were found behind his home. Franklin was convicted of aggravated assault with brass knuckles against a man who was permanently disabled as a result of the incident in 2000, and the kidnapping, rape, and aggravated assault of a woman in 2009 and sentenced to fifty years for the latter. However, authorities, with the help of the FBI, believed he is responsible for the disappearances and/or murders of ten women involved in drugs and/or prostitution in the late 1990s, but has not been charged due to the lack of evidence.
