Kim Marie Larrow was a teenager who disappeared in 1981 from Michigan.
The circumstances of her disappearance remained uncertain until it was announced in 2018 that she may have been a victim of suspected serial killer Arthur Ream. Other possible victims include Cynthia Coon, Kim King, Nadine O'Dell and Kellie Brownlee.
Kim had moved from her father's home in Dundee, Michigan to her mother home on Beaufort Drive in Canton, Michigan about a week before she vanished. A lot of her family lived in the Ida, Michigan area and she spent weekends with her aunt there.
Kim was described by her family as a 'rebellious' teenager who used drugs and sometimes tried to run away. On one occasion she left home unexpectedly and hitchhiked to Florida with a friend. However, according to her family she would also always contact someone when she ran away. They also stated that there where no major issues in her life at the time. She did not have a driver's license or social security number when she went missing.
Kim was last seen at an ice cream parlour near Sheldon road and Ann Arbor road. Kim's best friend worked at the parlour and the two had made plans to meet at Haggerty Feild in Hines Park that night. Kim never showed up but was not reported missing for several days. According to some sources her mother has been uncooperative in the investigation.
In 2018 it was announced that convicted murdered and suspected serial killer, Arthur Ream is a possible suspect in Kim's case and in the cases of four other girls. In May 2018, police began digging at the property where he buried Cindy Zarzycki, who he murdered in 1986, expecting to find more bodies. No human remain where found and the digging stopped after a week.
Kim's father died in 2005 but other relatives have continued to search for her.
