Kip lived in Norfolk, Virginia, and often made trips to nearby Woodbridge. He played guitar and drums, and was often in local bands in Norfolk. We don't know a lot about his disappearance, but he vanished sometime in 1984. He made a trip to Deland, Florida, and was last seen in a storage zone. To what I found, this storage zone is located on 360 Michigan Avenue. On January 14, 1986, his remains were located of Pumphouse Road in Ormond Beach, Florida. His body had appeared to have been dumped at the location. He had been murdered but his cause of death has never been released or determined. He was identified 34 years later with the help of DNA testing. his family declared him dead in 1990.
