Leigh Marine Occhi (born August 21, 1979) was a girl who went missing in 1992 in Mississippi. Foul play is suspected in her case.
Case

Progressed to 26
Leigh was last seen by her mother, Vickie Felton, at 7:35 a.m., prior to leaving for work. This was the first time Felton left her home alone, and she was planning to attend an open house at her school later that day. Meanwhile, Hurricane Andrew had resulted in heavy storms in the area. Felton reportedly called her at 8:30 a.m., but with no answer, and reported her disappearance thirty minutes later.
Type O bloodstains, which is possibly Leigh's blood type, were located throughout the home. In addition, Leigh's sleeping bag and a few possessions were discovered missing.
Nearly one month following Leigh's disappearance, her glasses were delivered to her home via mail. No results were gained regarding handwriting and forensic testing on the envelope.
She was erroneously identified as a skeleton through dental comparison. The remains were later positively matched to a 27-year-old woman.
Suspects
Felton stated she believed an acquaintance of Leigh is responsible for her disappearance. It should be noted, however, that Felton failed all three polygraph tests she had been given. Furthermore, authorities felt Felton's behavior regarding the case was odd, and Felton's current whereabouts remain unknown to her relatives. Regardless, Felton has never been identified as a suspect, and Leigh continues to be missing.
