Manhattan Jane Doe is an unidentified victim of serial killer Richard Cottingham AKA The Torso Killer.
The victim was discovered in Room #417 of the Travel Inn Motor Hotel by firefighters responding to a fire alarm. Another victim was discovered on the scene and later identified as Deedeh Goodarzi, a Kuwaiti immigrant who worked as a prostitute.
The killer had removed their heads and hands and attempted to burn the remains. The missing body parts were never recovered.
