Max Tancevski was a man discovered tied to a metal cross in the Hawkesbury River in Sydney, Australia in 1994. He was nicknamed "Rack Man" prior to his identification.

Case

Tancevski vanished in January 1993 while on a "gambling spree."

A fisherman found the body in one of his nets when he was fishing in the Hawkesbury River. The body was wrapped in plastic and tied to a handmade metal cross that was custom-fit to the man. He had suffered from blunt force trauma to the head but it could not be determined whether or not he had been thrown in the river before or after death. It is unknown where he was murdered.

Tancevski was one of several missing people listed as potential identities for the victim before a DNA test ultimately showed he was "Rack Man."
