Milagros Alvarado, known by her nickname Milli, was a woman found deceased in 1994. She was identified in 2016 through DNA testing.[1][2]
Case
Milli was last seen in Fitchburg, Massachusetts on June 20, 1994. On August 1, 1994, her partial skeletal remains were discovered in a wooded area. The body was clothed in a T-Shirt, jeans and Jordache sneakers, which was inconsistent to what was described on her NamUs listing.[3]
Alvarado's remains were incorrectly estimated to have belonged to a younger woman, at the ages between 20 and 30, where she was actually 37 at the time of her murder. Milli was also Hispanic, which was not initially apparent during examination.[4]
Her murder remains unsolved.
