Monmouth Jane Doe was a young woman found deceased in New Jersey in 1988. She was believed to have died years before her discovery.
Case
Residents discovered her skull while helping to clear a parcel of land along the bay for a bicycle trail on a wooded hillside. More than 85% of the skeletal remains were recovered after a further search of the area. Her remains were estimated to have been in that same location for approximately fifteen years.
