Mt. Jewett Jane Doe was a female whose skull cap was discovered in Pennsylvania in 1991.
A search of the area where the partial skull was found was conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police and the Cattaraugus County (NY) Sheriff's Department, however, no additional remains were found.
The skull had been pierced by a gunshot, however, the manner of death could not be established and it is unknown if foul play is involved.
