Nadine Jean O'Dell was a teenager who disappeared in 1974. It was announced in May 2018 that she could have been a victim of suspected serial killer Arthur Ream. Other possible victims include Kim King, Kim Larrow, Kellie Brownlee and Cynthia Coon.
Nadine O'Dell was last seen on John Daly Road in Inkster walking towards Michigan Avenue at 9:30 a.m. on August, 16, 1974. She was going to babysit at her boyfriend's house in Taylor, Michigan and he was going to meet her there. He arrived at the house but Nadine never did.
When she was last seem Nadine was wearing faded baggy blue jeans and a white T-shirt. She was also wearing her boyfriend's Taylor High School Class of 1976 ring around her neck. The ring is white gold with a blue stone and a ram's head.
In 2018 it was announced that Nadine was suspected to have been murdered by Arthur Ream along with Kim King, Kim Larrow, Cynthia Coon and Kellie Brown. Ream had murdered 13 year old Cindy Zarzycki in 1986 and allegedly told his cellmates that he was a serial killer with 4 to 6 victims in prison.
In May 2018, police began digging at the property where Cindy was buried in hope of finding the bodies of other missing girls there. No human remains where found and the digging stopped after a week.
