Pops (2008)

Template:UID"Pops" was the nickname of an unidentified man who was found deceased under a bridge.

Case

The decedent was found by a homeless individual under a subway bridge at Bloor and Parliament Streets. The same individual claimed that the decedent often slept under the bridge and referred to him as "Pops" and "Joe."

Physical description

• He had short hair, a beard, and mustache that was brown and graying.
• He had brown eyes.
• A majority of his teeth were missing and any of his remaining teeth were decayed.
• He had moderate osteoarthritis in his neck.
• He had an appendectomy at some point in his life.
• He had a healed pelvis fracture.
• He was uncircumcised.
• His testicles were undescended.
• He had a valgus deformity on both of his large toes.
• He had several different scars:
  • A 1.5-centimeter scar in his right knee pit.
  • A 6-centimeter scar on his right lower abdomen.
  • A 16-centimeter scar with suture marks on his right abdomen.

Clothing and belongings

• His outfit consisted of:
  • A black and white striped sweater.
  • A dark blue fleece sweater.
  • A short-sleeved black shirt.
  • Dark blue and white or black and white striped boxers.
  • Checkered black and blue flannel pants.
• Clothing found near his body consisted of:
  • A dark blue knitted hat.
  • A beige jacket.
  • Black nylon pants.
  • Tan ankle shoes with tan shoelaces.

• A small change pouch.
• $18.41 in coins.
