Mary Rachel Trlica (née: Arnold), best known by her middle name, was a teenager who went missing alongside Lisa Wilson and Julie Moseley in late 1974. Police have suspected foul play in their case.
Rachel, alongside her best friend, Renee Wilson and neighbor Julie Moseley, were all planning to go to the Seminary South Shopping Center. They were planning to come back at around 4:00 pm, but never came home.
A day later, a letter came in the mall, It was addressed to "Thomas A. Trlica" and the name "Rachel" was written in the upper left corner of the envelope. The letter stated, "I know I'm going to catch it, but we just had to get away. We're going to Houston. See you in about a week. The car is in Sear's upper lot. Love Rachel." Later, it was determined that in fact the letter was not written by Trica. It is unknown who actually wrote it.
