"Ruth" was the possible name of a woman that Samuel Little confessed to killing between 1992 and 1994.

Case

Serial killer Samuel Little claimed to have met this woman, possibly named "Ruth," in Little Rock, Arkansas sometime between 1992 and 1994. It was cold and possibly snowing when they met, and they stayed together for several days and shoplifted together until Little was arrested for shoplifting at a grocery store. He was released shortly after so he could move his vehicle out of the parking lot, and "Ruth" was allegedly sleeping inside. He stayed at the woman's house that night before driving with her to Benton or Bentonville the next day, where he strangled her to death outside of Little Rock. He allegedly dumped her body in or near a cornfield in North Little Rock.

Between 1970-2005, Little killed up to 90 women who were involved in drugs or prostitution. He has been convicted of eight murders in three states and linked to sixty-one additional murders. While this victim’s body has not been recovered or confirmed, all of Little’s confessions are considered credible. The investigation into Little’s crimes are ongoing.
