Daniel Muniz, Jr. was a man who was recovered from the Styx River in Seminole, Alabama in 2000. Foul play is not suspected in his death.
In June 2021, a woman came forward claiming that she believed the decedent was her stepfather, Daniel Muniz, Jr. In April 2022, his identity was confirmed via DNA testing. Muniz was a migrant worker from Texas and was believed to be working in Alabama when he died.
