Timothy Jack "Tim" McCoy (May 14, 1955 - c. January 2, 1972) was the first-known victim of serial killer John Wayne Gacy. He was known as Body 9 or the "Greyhound Bus Boy" while unidentified.

Case

McCoy was stabbed to death in early January of 1972 in Gacy's home and subsequently buried in the crawlspace under the kitchen floor. McCoy had spent the night at Gacy's house on Gacy's suggestion. The two met at a bus terminal in Chigaco and McCoy was returning home after having celebrated Christmas with friends in Michigan. His body was discovered along with many other of Gacy's victims in  December of 1978 after the police executed a search warrant  for Gacy's house as part of the investigation into the whereabouts of Robert Piest, Gacy's last victim.

He was identified in 1986 via dental records.
