"Tommy Torso" was a man whose dismembered remains where found on a beach in Miami.

Case

Two fishermen found what appeared to be an injured manatee near the Miami Seaquarium, upon close inspection it turned out to be a man's rib cage, this was when the police where called.

A day after the man's partial remains where discovered, a local beachcomber found a trash bag wedged between two boulders, upon close inspection he saw what appeared to be sawed off human remains of a woman, he then alerted the police.

Both bodies appeared to have been sawed apart with the same instrument. Cops nicknamed the couple "Tommy and Theresa Torso." Over the course of weeks, more body parts were washed ashore in different locations.

"Theresa Torso" has been positively identified as 27-year-old Nilsa Padilla. Authorities believed that her boyfriend Jorge Walter Nuñez was responsible for both murders but was never apprehended.

Tommy remains unidentified.
