Wilson County John Doe was a man found wrapped in a blanket near Interstate 40 in Lebanon, Tennessee. He had been shot once in the head.

Case[]

A man cutting brush along Bobo Road, south of Interstate 40, discovered the skeletal remains wrapped in a blanket or placed under some carpet within eyesight of exit 245. The man reported he had cleared brush from the same area the previous October and never noticed anything suspicious.

It is possible that someone killed the decedent elsewhere and then dumped them at this location.

Characteristics[]

  • Straight, medium-length black hair.
  • Healed fractures to the right knee, left ankle, and right second rib.
  • Possible pierced ears.
